T20 World Cup 2021, Oman vs Scotland highlights: Scotland reached the main draw at a global cricket tournament for the first time in their history on Thursday, with a comfortable 8-wicket victory over co-hosts Oman in the final Group B match at the T20 World Cup.
Both sides needed to win to stay in the competition, but Oman could only muster a modest 122 all out after opting to bat first. Scotland skipper Kyle Coetzer returned to form with a 28-ball 41 and got Scotland over the line with 18 balls to spare.
Scotland can now look forward to contest against heavyweight sides such as India, New Zealand and Pakistan after winning the group.
