T20 World Cup 2021: During Ind vs Pak, Babar Azam's mother was on ventilator, reveals his father

While Babar Azam-led Pakistan team was demolishing the Indian side at the World T20 opener in Dubai, his mother was battling for her life on the ventilator at home, his father revealed on Instagram. Pakistan broke India's long-standing record as they crushed Virat Kohli's men by 10 wickets. 

Azam Siddique, Babar's father shared a picture of his family and wrote in Urdu that Babar had played all the 3 world cup games in severe distress. It's time for my nation to know some truth, congratulations to all of you on the victory in all 3 games. There was a big test at our house, on the day the match was against India, Babar's mother was on the ventilator.' the post read.

Siddique also informed that his wife is now doing well.

The Pakistan team have won all their 3 games of the Super 12 so far, they will next face Namibia on Tuesday.
