Police officials have killed a man suspected of shooting a right-wing group supporter in Portland last week. Officers of a federal task force shot the suspect while trying to apprehend him in Washington.
The suspect, Michael Reinoehl was a self-described antifa supporter, and was a regular at anti-racism demonstrations in Portland.
He was caught on camera shooting a man during last weekend's tension, and admitted to it before his death. The 48-year-old had pulled a gun during the fracas and was consequently shot by law enforcement officers.
Tension broke out in Oregon last week after a clash between supporters of President Donald Trump and left-wing activist groups.
