Suryakumar Yadav, Prithvi Shaw to join Indian squad in England, says BCCI

BCCI on Monday announced that Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav who are currently in Sri Lanka for the 3-match T20I series will fly to England to join the Indian squad for the 5 match Test series which is set to begin on August 4.

The Indian cricket board further informed that Shubhman Gill, Washington Sundar, and Avesh Khan have been ruled out as all the three cricketers have picked up injuries. While Sundar and Khan have suffered injuries in bowling hand and left thumb respectively, Gill has issues in his left lower leg. Rishabh Pant who has been cleared of Covid-19 will also be available for the upcoming series.
