The technical service team has over 100 specialists from around the world and will do a variety of repairs and upgrades for the athletes. In addition to that, the technicians will also host workshops for athletes and coaches on how to maintain and repair the costly equipment.

More than 17,300 parts have been prepared and the team aims to complete over 2,000 repairs during the Paralympics which will open on August 24th and close on September 5th. This service will be extremely beneficial for athletes coming from countries where prosthetics are extremely costly to import and not much is available when it comes to repairing and upgrades.
