Zydus Cadila will be in focus today as an announcement for children vaccination is expected today.The stock which hit a high of Rs 668/share in July end has been reeling under pressure since due to the lack of clarity on the kid vaccine rollout.
As of now, only Zydus Cadila's ZyCoV-D has been approved for emergency use in India for children above 12 years old.
The National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI), the Covid-19 advisory group in India, will meet today to discuss vaccination for children, alongside other issues like booster dose.
This comes as India reported 17 more cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 on Sunday, taking the tally to 21.
