The Delhi Police on Thursday filed a 500-page closure report in the POCSO case against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh at Delhi’s Patiala House Court.

Stating that no corroborative evidence was found against Singh in the POCSO case, the police said the minor complainant had vested interests against the BJP MP.

According to the police's statement, they submitted the cancellation report to the court based on the statements of the girl and her father.

The Patiala House Court will hear the matter on July 4 to decide whether the case will be closed or not.
