It was emotional when ex-Team India skipper Virat Kohli staged an epic comeback against Afghanistan with a brilliant century in the shortest format of the game during the Asia Cup. But the cricket fans went bonkers when India's lion-hearted run machine saved his sinking side with a match-winning 82* in 53 balls against arch-rivals Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022 opening game.

Reminiscing about his blazing knock, Virat Kohli shared a post on his Instagram. Sharing his picture from the epic when India scripted a memorable 4-wicket win, Kohli wrote, 'October 23rd, 2022 will always be special in my heart. Never felt energy like that in a cricket game before. What a blessed evening that was'

Kohli pulled off a miracle on October 23, he helped India chase down 48 of the 160 runs in the final 3 overs to win a last-ball thriller. Posting 16 runs on the board in an epic final over, the former captain stole a stunning 4-wicket win from Pakistan.
