Former England captain Eoin Morgan is of the opinion that India is the strongest side, even with injuries, going into the marquee T20 World Cup next month.
During a chat with Sky Sports Cricket on Monday, Morgan commented, 'The strongest side even with injuries throughout the tournament is India without a doubt. Their strength and depth are absolutely incredible at the moment.'
He added that they're talking about the players who probably missed out in India's squad of 15 because of the qualities the team already posseses.
Morgan also called India favourites to win the showpiece, 'They are favorites for me. I think that just the quality that they have on paper. If they produce it, I think they can, they can beat anybody quite well in the tournament.'
India's 15-member squad is led by Rohit Sharma and features veterans Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. The World Cup also marks the international return of Rishabh Pant from a horrific car accident.
The Men in Blue begin their campaign on June 5 against Ireland in New York.
