Seven women wrestlers including a minor filed a police complaint against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh accusing him of sexual harassment.

The police complaint was filed on Friday with the Connaught Place Police Station in New Delhi.

Head of Delhi Women for Commission, Swati Maliwal had also received a complaint and later confirmed that ‘several women including a minor have alleged that the accused person has indulged in the crime of sexual harassment against them during his tenure at the helm of Wrestling Federation of India’.

Maliwal demanded that an FIR be filed against Brij Bhushan in a letter written to the Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Wrestlers have also resumed the sit-down protest at Jantar Mantar, demanding quick action to be taken against Brij Bhushan.
