Amid rumours on social media that the minor complainant had withdrawn her case against the ex-Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, her father has dismissed all such claims.

Speaking to news agency IANS, her father rejected the rumours around withdrawal of their complaint, calling them completely fake.

The Business Standard quoted him as saying, 'We stand by our statement and I am out of the station and neither in Delhi nor Haryana.'

India's top wrestlers have been protesting against the former WFI chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, accusing him of sexually assaulting several female grapplers, including a minor.

Delhi Police has registered 2 FIRs against Singh, one under the POCSO Act as the complaint was filed by a minor, while another pertaining to accusations by adult wrestlers.
