Commonwealth Games gold medallist wrestler Vinesh Phogat underwent knee surgery in Mumbai on Thursday.
The knee injury forced her to pull out of Asian Games 2023.
Vinesh posted pictures with her doctor who operated on her left knee after the surgery and thanked him for standing by her against all odds.
'I’m sure we will bounce back stronger than before and look back at this period as a small stepping stone to what waits ahead,' she concluded.
