The inevitable has happened!
22-time grand slam champion Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from his semifinal clash against Nick Kyrgios due to an abdominal tear.
Nadal practiced at Wimbledon on the eve of his semifinal match but later announced the decision to withdraw from the tournament.
In the press meeting, the Spaniard said that he has been thinking about the decision throughout the day.

"I think it doesn't make sense to play. I feel very sad to say that," 36-year-old Nadal said.
In his quarterfinal match, the two-time Wimbledon champion took a medical time-out and ignored calls from his family to quit the game before emerging victorious in the fifth-set tiebreak.
With Nadal pulling out, Australia's Nick Kyrgios gets a walkover to the final, where he will play either No.1 seed Novak Djokovic or Britain's Cameron Norrie.
