US Open 2023: Rohan Bopanna-Matthew Ebden lose in men's doubles final

It was a disappointing day for Rohan Bopanna-Matthew Ebden at work after the Indo-Australian pair suffered a 3-set loss to defending champions Rajeev Ram-Joe Salisbury in the US Open men's doubles final.

At 43 years and 6 months, India's Bopanna was the oldest man to play in a Grand Slam final in the Open Era.

The duo took the first set 6-2 but there was a dip in their quality during the second set.

And from there on, it was the Ram-Salisbury show.

The third seeds eased past Bopanna-Ebden 6-3, 6-3 to win their third consecutive US Open men's doubles title.
