Defending men's champion and top seed Carlos Alcaraz stormed into the US Open 2023 semifinals after beating 12th seed Alexander Zverev in New York.
The World No. 1 defeated the German in straight sets of 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 and he will now take on Russia's Daniil Medvedev in the final four who overcame fellow Russian Andrey Rublev 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals.
On the other hand, in the women's quarterfinals, Aryna Sabalenka and Madison Keys won and will now face each other in semis.
While Sabalenka won 6-1, 6-4 against reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova, Keys beat China's Qinwen Zheng 6-1, 6-4.
