In a milestone event, India's Sumit Nagal will make his Wimbledon debut in 2024 in the Gentleman's Singles category.

Nagal, a former Wimbledon Junior champion, will be the first Indian to participate in the singles main draw since 2019.

He had won the Boys' Doubles title in 2015 alongside his Vietnamese partner Nam Hoang Ly to become only the sixth Indian to hold a Junior Grand Slam title.

Currently, Nagal is ranked 94th in the world and is preparing for his debut at the prestigious French Open in Paris.
