Novak Djokovic not to participate in Indian Wells & Miami due to his Covid-19 vaccine stand

Sticking to his firm stand on vaccine status, Novak Djokovic has decided not to compete in the Indian Wells Masters and Miami Open.

In a tweet, Djokovic said the Centers for Disease Control confirmed that regulations won't be changing in US.

"I won't be able to play in the US. Good luck to those playing in these great tournaments, " Djokovic added.

The 20-time Grand slam champion has competed in only one tournament in 2022 so far given he has not taken a Covid-19 vaccine.

Earlier, Djokovic has said he is ready to sacrifice trophies in future tournaments if forced to get jabbed.
