Marco Bezzecchi dominated the maiden Indian Grand Prix on Sunday as he took victory from pole position at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. He took advantage of standings leader Francesco Bagnaia's crash to blow open the MotoGP title race.

The gap between Bagnaia and Bezzecchi is now reduced to just 13 points with seven races left on the calendar.

The podium was completed by Jorge Martin, who beat Fabio Quartararo in an epic battle for second place.

The race-winning trophy was presented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
