Olympic Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra's congratulatory message for Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem is going viral on social media.

Neeraj, who missed the recently-concluded Commonwealth Games due to injury, commented on Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem's Instagram post after his Gold medal win. Nadeem, who became only the second Asian athlete to breach the 90-metre mark with his javelin, won the top honour with a sensational throw of 90.18m in Birmingham.

Neeraj congratulated Arshad for breaching the 90-metre mark and wished him luck for future events. He wrote, "Congratulations Arshad bhai for Gold medal and crossing 90m with a new games record. Aage ke competitions ke liye all the best."

They may be rivals on the field but they share a great bond off it. And the netizens love their camaraderie.

Even Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra group, took notice of Neeraj's post, stating both Neeraj Chopra & Arshad Nadeem deserve a Gold medal for demonstrating the difference between competitiveness and enmity.
