India Men's 4x400m relay team bags Gold, women's team takes silver at Hangzhou Asian Games

Yet another Gold for India! This time in the men’s 4x400m relay, where the Indians were the runaway champions, registering a new national record on their way to Gold.

Moments after Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena clinched Gold and silver in the men’s javelin throw, the quartet of Muhammed Anas, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal and Rajesh Ramesh clinched the top spot in the men's 4x400m with a stunning time of 3:01.58.

Not just the men’s team, even the women’s team broke the national record in the 4x400m relay to clinch silver with a time of 3:27.85.

The quartet of Vithya Ramraj, Aishwarya Mishra, Prachi and Subha Venkatesan finished only 20 milliseconds behind Bahrain, who registered a Games record to take home the Gold.
