Novak Djokovic says he's thrilled to be among tennis's greatest, as he eclipsed Steffi Graf's record of 377 weeks as World No.1.

Speaking after he defeated Tomas Machac at the Dubai Tennis Championships, the 35-year-old said he dreamt of being World No.1 as a child and is blessed to have reached his goal.

He also acknowledged the support team that helps him continue to perform at the top level of tennis.
