India's medal tally continues to soar on day 10 of the Asian Games, with two more medals in track and field events.

Mohd Afsal Pulikkalakath won the silver in the men's 800m while Praveen Chithravel, who's ranked 14th in the world, took home the bronze in the men's triple jump category.

While Mohd Afsal was in the Gold medal position briefly, a sprint from Saudi Arabai's Essa Ali (1:48.05) in the final 100 metres saw the Indian finish in second with a time of 1:48.43.

Meanwhile, Chithravel finished third in the men's triple jump, ahead of his compatriot Abdulla Aboobacker (16.62 metres) in fourth to win the bronze medal. Chithravel's best jump of 16.68 metres was only behind the two Chinese jumpers, who won the Gold and silver.
