Asian Games 2023: Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale assure India of medal in Tennis mixed doubles

The Indian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale assured India of another medal in Tennis after reaching the semifinals of the mixed doubles event.

The second-seed pair of Bopanna and Bhosale, overcame the eighth seeds, Zhibek Kulambayeva and Grigoriy Lomakin of Kazakhstan in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.

Bopanna, who won the Gold in men's doubles at the last Asian Games in Jakarta, will be hoping to add another to his cabinet, this time in the mixed doubles category.

Earlier in the day, the Indian pair of Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan assured India of a silver medal after qualifying for the final in the men's doubles event.
