India's Nikhat Zareen begins her Asian Games campaign on September 24 and in the preliminary round itself, she was handed a rematch of her 2023 World Championship Final.

Zareen and Nguyen met earlier in 2023 at the Women's World Boxing Championships Final where Zareen defeated the Vietnamese pugilist to clinch her second world title.
