It's raining medals for India in Hangzhou!

This time, the Indian 4x400m mixed relay team bagged the silver medal at the Asian Games.

Even though the team of Muhammed Variyathodi, Rajesh Ramesh, Vithya Ramraj and Subha Venkatesan finished third behind Bahrain and Sri Lanka in first and second respectively, India's medal was upgraded to silver after Sri Lanka were disqualified for lane infringement.

India, who were the defending Champions from the Jakarta Games in 2018, couldn't quite challenge Bahrain, who were the clear favourites at the start of the event. Bahrain had won Gold even last time but they were disqualified after their runner Kemi Adekoya tested positive for stanozolol.

The silver for India was also their 60th medal at the Asian Games so far.
