One of National Football League's (NFL) all-time great and 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced his retirement 'for good' on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old Brady spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots before he retired for a short time after last season but made a U-turn a few weeks later.

He relocated to Florida and led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl championship in 2021.

Brady, the most successful quarterback in NFL history, and one of the greatest athletes in team sports posted the announcement on social media Wednesday morning, a brief video lasting just under one minute.
