World number 6 Rafael Nadal has slammed Novak Djokovic over the Serbian's Australian visa saga and said that no one is above the sport.

Ahead of his Australian open opening match on Monday, Nadal said that the whole situation has complicated more than it should be, and it is taking longer than it should have to get solved. 'Personally, it is not going to affect me. If Djokovic ends up playing that's good and if not, it is the way it is, added Nadal.

35-year-old Nadal had tested positive for Covid-19 in December and is gearing up to take on America's Marcos Giron in round 1.
