Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022: BCCI tells PTI

Team India's chances of winning the T20 World Cup 2022 took a major dent on Thursday as Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out for 4 to 6 months with a back stress fracture.

A BCCI official told PTI that though the pacer won't require a surgery but is unlikely to travel with the Team to Australia for the T20 World Cup.

After played 2 T20Is in the recently concluded series vs Australia, Bumrah missed the 1st T20 vs South Africa. He in fact, didn't travel to Trivandrum with the team.

India begins its T20 World Cup campaign with game vs Pakistan on October 23 and will have to find someone to fill in Bumrah's shoes.
