Mumbai Indians didn't play all their cards at the start of the IPL 2022 mega auction but later went all out for England's Jofra Archer and bought the fast bowler for ₹8 crore.

Fans are now eagerly waiting to see Archer and Jasprit Bumrah bowl in tandem but they will have to wait a little longer. The English pacer is not available for this season of the IPL and will only join the Mumbai Indians' squad from the 2023 edition. However, MI's director of cricket operations Zaheer Khan feels that it's worth the wait.

The former India pacer said that he is eagerly waiting for the partnership to go on the field. 'To see two legendary fast bowlers bowling in tandem and I'm glad that it seems possible and will be worth the wait,' added Zaheer.
