Thousands of fans flooded the Gandhinagar streets as debutants Gujarat Titans, the winners of IPL 2022 took out a victory parade in the home state on Monday evening.
Gujarat Titans who became the only team after Rajasthan Royals to win the cash-rich league in their maiden season won the 15th edition of IPL after defeating Sanju Samson's RR in the finals on Sunday. The cricketers displayed the trophy on the bus' open top. The new franchise thanked its fans for the heartwarming welcome in a tweet and further wrote, 'We can’t thank the city police enough for ensuring our roadshow was a roaring success!'

Later on the same day, the winning team was also hosted by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. The team presented a bat signed by all the players, the proceeds of which will be used for the education of the daughters of the state, Patel said in a Tweet while congratulating the players on the special victory.
The Hardik Pandya-led side's next stop will be Mumbai where the team owners, CVC Capital Partners will host a party for them. They will leave for Mumbai on Tuesday.
