Sri Lankan ace Wanindu Hasaranga will not take the field for at least another seven days as he continues to consult doctors regarding his chronic left heel pain.
Hasaranga, who was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in December's mini-auction, will have to wait for his debut as his heel continues to trouble him.
As per an ESPNCricinfo report, 'Sri Lanka Cricket's medical staff have assessed him, and suspect the pain is down to musculo-skeletal apparatus in his left heel having become worn.'
The report further states that Sri Lanka Cricket's doctors have asked the spinner to consult other medical experts and he is expected to fly out of the country for the same.
Hasaranga's IPL participation currently remains unsure as there is no set date to when he joins the SRH squad.
The Sri Lankan's target likely remains the T20 World Cup in June, where he is set to lead the team.
