The Kolkata Knight Riders' management rubbished claims of them denying entry to certain fans during KKR vs LSG game in IPL 2023.

KKR issued a statement on Monday calling the reports 'misleading.'

'For the record, KKR management has nothing to do with crowd management at the stadium. We were told that some ambush marketing was attempted by some vested interests, which as per IPL league policy was promptly stopped by the IPL league Anti-Ambush Marketing team,' read the statement.

It further clarified that KKR was grateful for the great relationship with all its fans in Kolkata and for making every game at Eden Gardens a full house.

Bengal-based football club Mohun Bagan had slammed KKR after Kolkata's final league game against LSG. They claimed that a number of Mohun Bagan supporters were not allowed to enter the Eden Gardens.

Lucknow Super Giants paid tribute to Mohun Bagan by donning the iconic maroon and green coloured jersey.
