TATA IPL 2023 final, CSK vs GT: Wet outfield in Ahmedabad puts BCCI in line of fire

It rained for about 15 minutes on the reserve day of IPL 2023 final in between CSK and GT in Ahmedabad but it took the ground staff over 2 hours to get the ground ready for play to resume.

Apart from super soppers, groundsmen were seen using sponges to get excess water off the field which put BCCI in the line of fire.

Fans and some experts fumed that the richest board in the world didn't have high-end drainage facilities that too in the largest cricket stadium in the world.
