Riyan Parag, take a bow. The Rajasthan Royals star went full beast mode at Eden Gardens and became the first-ever batter in IPL history to smash 6 sixes off 6 balls—yep, you read that right!

It happened during RR's crazy run chase against KKR in IPL 2025.
The game?- A thriller.

The feat?- Straight-up legendary.

He went past Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, and Rinku Singh, who all had hit five successive sixes. Let us break it out and take a look at some other insane six-fests we've seen in the IPL.

RR were struggling at 102/5 in 12 overs, chasing 207.
Tension? high. Drama? at its peak.

Shimron Hetmyer takes a single off Moeen Ali’s first ball in the 13th over.

Then came the carnage: Parag goes 6,6,6,6.. Moeen panics, bowls a wide, but the next legit ball? Gone too. That’s 5 sixes in one over.

New over, same vibes. Hetmyer again takes a single on ball one. Parag, in beast mode, reverse-sweeps Varun Chakravarthy over point for his sixth straight six… SIX. IN. A. ROW.

Sadly for RR, they still lost the match by just 1 run. But Riyan’s fireworks? Pure history.

Chris Gayle (RCB vs PW, Chinnaswamy – IPL 2012) - The OG Universe Boss

RCB were chasing 183. Gayle was oddly chill at 41 off 36, but the required rate? Sky-high.

Saurabh Tiwary gave him strike... and the rest was just incredible: 5 straight sixes off Rahul Sharma. Dude even switched to around the wicket. Didn’t matter.

Gayle eventually fell for 81 (48), but RCB pulled off the win literally on the final ball. Vintage.

Kieron Pollard (MI vs SRH, Wankhede – IPL 2013)

Pressure? Not for Polly..

MI needed 62 from 24 balls. Rohit started the over with a six and gave Pollard the keys. Perera got wrecked: 4, 6, 6, 6 — that over went for 29.

Next up, Amit Mishra. Pollard hits: single, 6, 6, dot, waist-high no-ball (risky), SIX.

40 runs off 8 balls. MI chased it down with 3 balls to spare. Madness.

Rinku Singh (KKR vs GT, Ahmedabad – IPL 2023)

This one’s still fresh in our heads.

KKR needed 29 in the last over. Impossible? Not for Rinku.

Umesh gave him a strike after ball one. Then: 6,6,6,6,6 off Yash Dayal. Chased down 205 like it was nothing. Cold-blooded.

Do you have a favorite innings? Which one is it ?
