'IPL batting slots won't be considered': Rohit Sharma's message to big earners in IPL 2022 Auctions

India's white-ball captain Rohit Sharma gave a strong message to the big earners in the IPL 2022 Mega Auctions ahead of T20 International series against West Indies.

On the eve of the first T20 match against West Indies, Rohit said now that the auction is over, the focus will be on national duty and the same has been communicated to the players.

Rohit also made it clear that batting positions at IPL franchisees' would not dictate the players' slots in Team India.

Notably, Ishan Kishan and Venkatesh Iyer open for their IPL franchisees' while Shreyas Iyer plays at Number 3 slot.
