IPL 2024 Playoffs: Complete schedule, date & time as top four teams battle it out for the ultimate glory

The stage is set for the Indian Premier League 2024 playoffs with all four spots now confirmed. Kolkata Knight Riders were the first team to qualify for the playoffs, followed by Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Rajasthan Royals lost four back-to-back games and their final group-stage match ended as a washout, thus denting their hopes of finishing in the top 2 spots and qualifying for qualifier 1 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, meanwhile defeated Punjab Kings and booked second spot at the points table.

The top 2 teams at the end of the league stage will face each other in qualifier 1 which means it will be Kolkata Knight Riders versus Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 21 and the match will be played at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from 7:30 PM.

The team that ends up on the losing side will get another shot to book their spot in the final as the losing side will face the winner from the eliminator match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals which is scheduled to take place on May 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from 7:30 PM.

Qualifier 2 will take place between the winning side from Eliminator and the losing side from Qualifier 1. Qualifier 2 will take place in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai and this match will be played on 24th May from 7:30 PM the winner of this match will face the winner from Qualifier 1 in the all-important final.

The final of IPL 2024 is set to take place on 26th May at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai and the match will be played from 7:30 PM.

Out of the top four teams that have qualified for the playoffs, It is only RCB that has never lifted an IPL trophy. Will fortunes finally favor Royal Challengers Bengaluru this season? We will have to wait and see.
