Royal challengers Bengaluru's hopes of making it to IPL 2024 playoffs are well and truly alive as they thrashed the Punjab Kings by 60 runs in Dharamsala and knocked them out.

Sam Curran's decision to bowl first backfired as RCB finished at a mammoth 241/7, their highest score against PBKS in IPL history.

Virat Kohli once again stood out with 92 while Rajat Patidar made a fiery 55.

Chasing which, PBKS lost Prabhsimran Singh early but Rilee Rossouw kept his team's hopes alive with a 27-ball-61.

However, once he got out, no other batter stood his ground as Punjab was bowled out for 181. Mohammed Siraj the chief destroyer with 3 wickets.

While RCB's campaign lives on with 4 consecutive wins, Punjab Kings' 4th consecutive loss in Dharamsala made them the 2nd team to be knocked out after the Mumbai Indians.
