Rohit Sharma had a forgettable IPL 2022 and it seems that his lean patch has carried into this year's edition as well.

The Mumbai Indians' skipper was out for just 1 off 10 deliveries in MI's opening match vs RCB on Sunday night and failed to give his side a decent start.

In fact, Rohit has been out of form in the IPL for a while now. In his last 15 innings in the cash-rich league, he has scored just 269 runs at a below par average of 17.9. Rohit hasn't scored a single fifty during this time.

With no sign of the Hitman last year, Mumbai Indians struggled big time and finished at the bottom of the points table.

The 5-time IPL champions would hope for Rohit to find his mojo sooner rather than later in order to not have a repeat of the 2022 season.
