Mumbai Indians would be eager to carry their newly-found momentum into the next game as they take on the Punjab Kings in Mohali on Wednesday.

Revenge will be on MI's mind as Punjab beat Rohit Sharma's men at the Wankhede earlier in IPL 2023.

Moreover, with Suryakumar Yadav and Tim David back to smashing sixes, Mohali would be a perfect hunting ground for the Mumbai batters.

In the last match at this ground, LSG posted the highest score of this season against Punjab.

However, Punjab can't be taken lightly as they are also coming off a thrilling win against CSK where they chased down 201.

TEAM NEWS

Chris Jordan has joined the Mumbai Indians squad but it's unclear whether he will get a go ahead straight away or not.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

In 31 games so far in IPL, Punjab Kings have a slight edge over Mumbai, having won 16 and lost 15. However, PBKS has beaten MI 4 times in the last 5 games.

PUNJAB WEATHER FORECAST

With northern India receiving unseasonal rains, the met department has predicted 47% chance of rain and 28% chance of thunderstorm on Wednesday. The untimely showers might affect the game.
