A houseful Ekana Stadium will roar for the Lucknow Super Giants when KL Rahul's men walk onto the field against the Delhi Capitals in Match 3 of IPL 2023 on April 1.

Lucknow were a dominant force last year and they'll be hoping to replicate reaching the playoffs in their second season as well.

The Lucknow-based franchise will look to build upon their previous season's success with a rejuvenated pace attack. While questions remain over Mohsin Khan's availability, the inclusion of Jaydev Unadkat, Romario Shepherd, Daniel Sams and fit-again Mark Wood will certainly boost LSG's pace bowling stocks.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will dearly miss the services of their regular captain Rishabh Pant. And it remains to be seen, how David Warner fares on his return to the captaincy fold.

LSG vs DC head-to-head

The Super Giants haven't lost a game against Delhi so far and were victorious in both contests last season.

Lucknow weather update

Clear skies are expected to greet the teams in Lucknow as there is no chance of rainfall on matchday.

Team news

Quinton de Kock is part of the ODI series against the Netherlands and will miss the first two matches for LSG.

For the Capitals, in Rishabh Pant's absence, Sarfaraz Khan is expected to take the wicket-keeping role.
