Super Sunday will kick off at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium when defending champions Gujarat Titans take on the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Hardik Pandya’s men will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of wins after another great start to the season.

The Titans first beat the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL opener before getting the better of the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Kolkata Knight Riders, who suffered a defeat in their first game at the hands of Punjab Kings, bounced back and put on a spectacular show at the Eden Gardens against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

TEAM NEWS

Sri Lanka’s white-ball captain Dasun Shanaka was announced as Kane Williamson’s replacement but he will only arrive in India on Sunday.

For KKR, Mandeep Singh could face the axe after scores of 2 & 0 in his first two games, with keeper-batter N Jagadeesan coming into the Playing XI.

England’s Jason Roy, who replaced Shakib Al Hasan, has joined the KKR camp and could be in line for his first appearance this season if the Knight Riders opt to strengthen their batting at the expense of Tim Southee.

WEATHER UPDATE
The weather forecast has predicted soaring temperatures for Sunday afternoon with a partly cloudy sky. But there is no mention of precipitation during the match.

HEAD TO HEAD
Since it was the Gujarat Titans’ first edition last year, the two teams only faced each other once, a match the Titans won by 8 runs.
