Coming off an incredible win, dominant Kolkata Knight Riders are now set to host resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday in the 19th game of IPL 2023.

After a flat start to their 2023 campaign, KKRs won both their previous games and would now be keen to prove that the wins were not a fluke when they meet the Aiden Markram-led side at Eden Gardens.

While the 2-time champions will be oozing with confidence after Shardul Thakur's menacing performance against RCB and Rinku Singh's fiery 5 sixes in the final over against Gujarat Titans in the last game, they still need to be on the lookout as Sunrisers Hyderabad too, came up trumps in their previous game.

Boosted by the 8-wicket win vs Punjab, the Brian Lara-coached side, who are languishing at the 9th spot currently, would look to hold on to their winning momentum and give KKR a strong fight at home.
