2018. Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians. The first match of IPL 11.

Mark Wood is taken to the cleaners. 4 overs. 49 runs. 0 wickets.

The only game Wood played for the franchise. While CSK won the title that year, Wood wasn't there to celebrate with his team, having left for England midway through the tournament.

Fast forward 5 years and the English speedster is back, and how!

It was a return to savour as playing only his second IPL match, Wood's pace stunned the likes of Prithvi Shaw & Mitchell Marsh on Saturday night. His ferocious bowling saw him finish with match-winning figures of 5/14.

Now, he is up against his former side. And surely, he will have a point to prove when he takes the field against the Super Kings.
