Avesh Khan expressed regret over his wild celebration during Lucknow Super Giants' IPL 2023 game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
LSG won a nail-biter vs RCB and Avesh, who faced the last ball, threw his helmet in anger after running the winning run. Recalling that, the pacer said that his celebration went a little far.
'I realised later that I shouldn’t have done that. It just happened in the heat of the moment. I now feel sad that I shouldn't have done that,' Avesh told Indian Express.
That incident gave berth to the most talked-about rivalry of IPL 2023 as RCB was furious in the reverse fixture and beat LSG to complete their revenge.
