Joshua Little who was one of the standouts at the T20 World Cup 2022, has bagged a lucrative deal at the IPL auction and is now a part of the defending Champions Gujarat Titans.
Little, who is the first Irish player to be signed by an IPL team said he was delighted to be a part of the Titans and looks forward to playing under Hardik Pandya and coach Ashish Nehra.
The 23-year-old who had claimed a memorable hat-trick against New Zealand in Ireland's loss during a T20 World Cup game has been picked by the franchise for Rs 4.4 crore.
The left-arm seamer who had served as a net bowler for CSK last IPL season made his international debut in 2016 and has since played 22 ODIs and 53 T20Is. He also played a pivotal role for the Manchester Originals in the Hundred during their run-up to the final.
