After winning the IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans' skipper Hardik Pandya has chalked out his next goal. In his post-match presentation, the new skipper who led his team to their first-ever IPL win in their maiden season said that his next aim is a World Cup for Team India. 'Absolutely to win the World Cup for India no matter what', he said.

Pandya who wasn't fit enough to bowl earlier overcame his back injury blues and efficiently bowled for his IPL team in 2022. In their 7-wicket win in the 2022 final against Rajasthan Royals, Pandya picked 3 wickets including the crucial wicket of Jos Buttler. In the 4 overs he bowled, the skipper just gave away 17 runs. On the back of his stellar IPL performance, he has also been called back on national duty for the upcoming 5-match T20 series against South Africa that begins on June 9th.
