IPL 2022: Virat Kohli joins the Royal Challengers Bangalore bio-bubble ahead of tournament

Former India captain and also Royal Challengers Bangalore's skipper till last season Virat Kohli has joined the team bubble in Mumbai ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season. 

Virat arrived at the team hotel on Monday night and will be in mandatory quarantine for a few days before starting his training with RCB ahead of IPL 2022

The 33-year-old relinquished RCB's captaincy last year after leading the team for 8 straight years. Virat Kohli in fact is with the RCB since the inception of IPL in 2008 and has been the leading run-getter of the league with 6283 runs in 207 matches. 

Bangalore will be led by Faf du Plessis this season and will start their campaign against Punjab Kings on Sunday 27th March.
