IPL 2022: Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians begin preparations ahead of season start

The most successful IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians is leaving no stone unturned ahead of IPL 2022.  

Mumbai's skipper Rohit Sharma along with head coach Mahela Jayawardene were seen preparing for the opening game with their star player Ishan Kishan, who was bought by the 5-time IPL winners for a whopping 15.25 crores.  

Apart from them, Riley Meredith, Sanjay Yadav and Ramandeep Singh also practiced ahead of the season start. IPL 2022 is set to begin on March 26th with Chennai Super Kings facing Kolkata Knight Riders in the first game of the season.

Rohit Sharma led the Mumbai Indians who failed to reach the playoffs last season will play the first match of the 15th edition of the cash-rich league against Delhi Capitals on March 27th.
