Virat Kohli's captaincy stress is off his shoulders in the IPL 2022 season, and this could be bad news for the opposition feels Royal Challengers Bangalore's senior player Glenn Maxwell.

While Kohli stepped down from the post last year, the franchise appointed former Chennai Super Kings cricketer, Faf du Plessis as the new captain ahead of the 15th season of IPL which is set to begin on March 26th.

His teammate, Glenn Maxwell feels that the captaincy duties might have weighed him down. But now that he's been able to release it, it might be dangerous for the opposition.

The Australian cricketer who will join his IPL team a little later this season due to personal commitments feels that earlier he was an aggressive in your face type of competitor, and with the responsibilities of a skipper gone, Virat Kohli will get to relax a bit and enjoy his cricket without any external pressure.

RCB begins its campaign against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 27th.
