IPL 2022: Rajat Patidar becomes first uncapped player to hit a century in playoffs

Royal Challengers Bangalore's Rajat Patidar has become the first ever uncapped player to score a century in the IPL playoffs after scoring an unbeaten 112 runs off just 54 balls against Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator on Wednesday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Patidar's big match hundred helped Bangalore to register a massive score of 207/4 in 20 overs against Lucknow. Bangalore won the eliminator by 14 runs.

With this massive century, the 28-year old batter has also become the first player for RCB to hit a century in the playoffs. The Indore based cricketer is only the fourth uncapped player in the IPL history to score a century in the league.

Patidar is undoubtedly one of the best finds of the RCB this season. RCB's batter has scored 275 runs in just 7 matches in the ongoing IPL.
